The presentation is a summary of Proposed Amendments to the Department’s 6 NYCRR Part 375 Environmental Remediation Programs. These proposed amendments incorporate needed changes, clarifications, and modifications to the regulations. Additionally, they increase consistency across remedial programs (State Superfund, Brownfield Cleanup Program, and Environmental Restoration Program) administered by DEC’s Division of Environmental Remediation and provide DEC with the tools necessary to more effectively implement these programs.
Before obtaining his law degree, Mr. Murphy managed numerous projects related to the assessment, investigation and remediation of contaminated sites, including sites in the BCP, as an environmental consultant.
